Traffic stop nets three on drug charges

From Floyd County Jail reports

A traffic stop at DeSoto Avenue and Iron Street late Friday resulted in the arrest of a man and two women on drug charges.

According to reports at the Floyd County Jail, police found glass smoking devices containing suspected methamphetamine.

28-year old Michael Alamia of a Mardi Way address, along with 27-year old Keila Michelle Johnson and 24-year old Joanie Luana Pope of Cedartown are charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

Johnson was also charged with possession of a schedule II drug for allegedly having Hydrocodone.
