When it comes to hairdos, gals just can't make up their minds. A woman changes her hairstyle an average of 104 times from age 13 to 65, says a study. That means twice a year, the average woman has her tresses dyed, cut, curled or layered. According to the survey, the reason women vary their dos are:
"With our modern, everyday stresses and hectic lifestyles, often a restyle or a new color is an effective and easy way to boost a woman's confidence," explains a study source. "A new hairstyle can also help a woman through a life changing event, either by making her feel better about herself after breaking up with a partner or to celebrate reaching a big birthday." When it comes to coloring, the old saying may be that gentlemen prefer blondes, but the most popular dye is dark brown, according to 56 percent of those surveyed, with Honey blond coming in second.
